Is anyone else glad that tomorrow is Friday? This week has been so, blah!! My little sister, her husband, and my niece had been here visiting for over a week and left on Sunday. I can't seem to "get over it" yet. I miss them so terribly when they aren't here. Ugh. I'm hoping to get some photography and crafting done before next week. Maybe that will pull me out of my funk.

This is my new Blythe Cherry Berry, and her name is Shalom. She is completely stock and I think she might stay that way. I had planned to send her off to the Blythe Rescue Mission, but I don't know, she is so charming. It's odd to go from having so many to just one. Oddly enough, I'm thinking I might need Star Dancer. I think they would compliment each other nicely. There is something about that wonky eye and her coloring that I am finding irresistable.....
What's going on in your neck of the woods?

Aw, I understand how you feel. My Mum and stepfather visited from Canada for our wedding 18 months ago, it was bit sad when they left because i only get to see them once every 2 years or so...
I love your new girl. I didn't realise you had many girls before, what happened? Star Dancer is really lovely especially matted because she's quite shiny.

I was up to seven at one point, but they totally overwhelmed me. I found that I had no time for any of them. I never took them anywhere. I thought one or two would be easier, it's hard to want just one!!
The family seperation is the main reason we've pretty much decided against Massachusetts. It would be too much to travel all the time for family and would leave no time for leisure travel! I love that you always comment on my journal, you are so splendid!!

My pleasure :-) I enjoy reading your journal!
I am having Canada withdrawl at the moment, but we'll probably visit in September. My brother lives in Boston now, so we'll probably start there and drive up or the opposite.

I love Cherry Berry...I'd never planned to get her, and then a friend brought her over to my house and i was madly, deeply in love. I think she's such a beautiful doll, even though her hair drives me a bit insane! I won't do anything to it because I love it.
I end up doing alot of travelling 'back home' which is a pity as I'd love to do more global travelling. its so expensive flying between Europe and the Western US...

Yes, it's very expensive. It's the primary reason I've yet to see Europe even though I'm DYING to. Especially the UK, Ireland, and France! *sigh*
This is the little lady I was seeking a helmet for!!! I'm glad you like her!
